“I’ve always had a passion and love for healing myself and others, this was instilled in me at a young age through the light of my adopted parents. I moved to San Diego really not knowing anyone. Being a traveling therapist in the physical therapy world I found myself searching for ways and remedies to guide me through many obstacles, challenges, and life lessons that came my way. I met Jennymelva through a mutual friend when going to yoga on the beach and that’s when it began. My quest and dreams with the healing arts stemmed with my undergraduate degree learning much about complementary alternative medicines and bloomed further with her Reiki I & II training. To begin, I want to share that, while Incredibly Humble, Jenny is one of the Most Unique individuals. It may be said to easily for some, Jenny tuely radiates such a warm Heart, so Positive and Kind, Gentle nature with Humor and Curiosity and a PASSION for what she teaches. Her Knowledge in Reiki is unbelievable, it’s like she Breathes Reiki! Her Passion radiates and is Catchy to us her students!!:))

I had already received certification in Reiki 1 year ago and thought that experience was Wonderful. However, because I didn’t practice it, and because Jenny teaches
1&2 together, and I wanted to learn from her, I enrolled for both. The Difference in what I learned in Jenny’s class is UN-COMPARABLE on EVERY LEVEL. It was a group class of myself and two others. I had been nervous about attending, however from the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with Such Warmth and excitement from Jenny, which put me Right To Ease!! As the other members arrived, I saw they were like me, curious and interested to Learn! The surroundings were so peaceful, everything down to healthy organic snacks, tea, water, and coffee throughout the day. Jenny is So Warm, she had these neat personal reflective, and introspective exercises that helped us get to know ourselves but also when we each shared our responses, we got to know each other. through the course of the day, Jenny managed to cultivate such a warm, comfortable free space for learning. It became such a Special Experience, all of us were on a special journey Together.

The comfortability and warmth of the class helped the next day, as this was the day of Practice!!! Jenny helped us all feel without Preconceived notions, Absolutely No pressure, Clear support to Let Go of Any expectations, the emphasis was just to EXPLORE. With this, with the knowledge she imparted, and the warmth and unconditional support she embraced and cultivated, INFUSED into us, well, the day of Practice was nothing short of...well, the only word I can think to describe how it felt is... MAGICAL!! I don’t have good enough words to truly describe this entire journey, when I described it to my friends, I said “INCREDIBLE” “AMAZING” “UNBELEIVABLE” but the word I liked The BEST was “MAGICAL”. Also, it was FUN!!!! I had felt doubtful of my abilities, but Jenny was So Encouraging and Reassuring, she Removed any Pressure.
When I left the class, I felt TRANSFORMED!!! During the practice, I Felt the energy of those I practiced on and they felt my hands and the work I did. Likewise, I felt the healing energy of the student that practiced on me. IT WAS ALL SUCH AN AMAZING INCREDIBLE MAGICAL EXPERIENCE!!!!!! When I left the class, I had the tools to Perform A Healing Practice!!!

Also, If I am to offer a comparison, in my other class, I received a brief pamphlet which was helpful, but Jenny put together an entire detailed Manuel, WOW!!! It covers absolutely EVERYTHING, the history, various practices, the hand placements, the symbols, positive affirmation material, and just EVERYTHING! It also links to various sessions we watched during the class. I like this SO MUCH because I can look back at it. This particularly included the History of Reiki, What it truly is, all the different uses, background on the energy reiki practitioners use, Anatomy, Chakra’s, Energy meridians, and Just EVERYTHING!!!! I felt incredibly fortunate to have this to keep. It also had Links to Cool RESOURCES she Provided during the class.

I feel LUCKY that there is someone like Jenny to Teach! I think she is very Rare. I will continue my practice and I trust ONLY Jenny

“Hi my name is Gabrielle Kronlein and I did my reiki training level 1& 2 with Jenny Melva in 2021. It was the best experience and decision I have ever made. Prior to my training I was getting reiki done on me by her amazing sister Jen about once a month and I had such mind blowing experiences.
